Katrina Lautenschlager - Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Katrina Lautenschlager grew up on a cattle ranch and wheat farm in Whitman County, Washington - Lautenschlager & Sons Red Angus. After competing on Team USA for two years at the World Championships of Performing Arts as a teenager, she attended both Eastern Washington University and Liberty University where she studied Government, Theatre & Communications. She started college at 16 and was named “Top Student Activist in the Nation” two years in a row, after founding one of the leading conservative student groups in the nation at the time, her Young Americans for Freedom chapter, leading over 350 members at just 18 years old. Katrina interned in Washington, D.C., which led to her landing a dream job at age 20 working at a national nonprofit with some of our nation's greatest thought-leaders. By 23, she was founding her first 6-figure business, this very marketing and design agency, Rancher Profiles. When she’s not running Rancher Profiles, she’s working on developing her other businesses, KLAUT Marketing (a sister agency to this one, serving businesses in all industries by helping them strategically gain the "KLAUT" they need to increase sales and scale,) her podcast and online courses to reach even more people with marketing and entrepreneurship strategies, while studying for her real estate license, pursuing acting and modeling, and sharing the ideas behind a growth mindset and freedom every chance she can. She served as Miss Colorado United States 2021, and competed for both Miss USA and Miss United States.

...A Deeper Look at "Why" Rancher Profiles Was Born...
~From the Founder's Desk~
"Coming out of working with large, national organizations and corporations in Washington, D.C., I've found myself with a broad set of skills that transfer tremendously well into the agricultural industry. Over the past 10+ years, I've helped plan and execute events ranging from over 14,000 attendees down to elite business masterminds, along with national campaigns all over the country with corresponding digital media efforts. I learned the ins and outs of marketing, along with the importance of exceptional branding and design, while observing the inner workings of what makes businesses successful - and how getting "stuck in ruts" can hold them back. I've spent a lot of time representing organizations on stages as a speaker and at events, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Serving as a customer service representative in each role I find myself, the concept of creating an exceptional experience and delivering impactful results was one of those ideas that just clicked as "common sense" ( ...but why is this still not common practice everywhere!?)
I spent the past decade guiding thousands of students and businesses not only with their marketing & design efforts, but also with brand development, event coordination, leadership skills, successful mindsets, business consulting, sales & fundraising, communication, recruitment and scaling to level up the IMPACT they can create.
Anywhere I go, I'm known for being a people person. I'm the "woo" girl, the positivity spreader. Making new friends on elevator rides or in the seat next to me on a plane is one of my favorite pastimes; I absolutely LOVE hearing people's stories, the backgrounds and decisions that brought them to where they are today.
I've always been a sucker for the creative side of bringing an idea or event to life. But, in recent years, I have realized my strength in strategic thinking and developing systems to hit targets. Because I'm a fan of always thinking BIGGER, I help others set, and hit, bigger goals/targets, too.
Capturing the right images & words, designing a cohesive event-specific branding that falls within the overarching business brand, telling a story, and making people feel something & connect in a world where business can sometimes be too impersonal: it's all what pumps my blood. I like to say my job is to show up and fill the void where business meets creative for a targeted purpose. Intentional planning and execution mixed with creativity and story-telling communication is the recipe I like to follow.
Simply put: I'm passionate about helping people share their stories creatively to impact the world we live in. Fortunately, in today's day, so much of business now begins with telling a story. I'm good at that.
With my background in agriculture, it gets me excited when I get to help ranches in particular. I grew up on a ranch in eastern Washington state, in what is known as the rolling Palouse Hills. My family raises around 250 head of registered Red Angus cattle along with farming nearly 7,000 acres of wheat, barley, and (sometimes) garbanzo beans. I've always helped them in any way I could over the years, especially with digital needs. However, when I told them I was leaving my job in DC, they asked me to consider running the digital marketing communications for them. My plan was to help them out for a bit and then head back to DC for work, but it didn't take long to notice the incredibly large void of people doing this type of work in the cattle industry.
The Truth: My dad bribed me to help him the first 6 months or so before Rancher Profiles was officially founded with a new puppy, an elk hunt, and time with family while I chose where I wanted to go next in my career that I, then, was planning to build in DC.
In trying to help my family's ranch get better positioned, marketing and branding wise, I researched the industry and reached out to most outlets I found that may be of some sort of help. What became evident quickly was that the supply was less than the demand, and there certainly weren't many places that could serve as more of a "one-stop shop" for ranchers' digital marketing needs. Because of this, it's been widely accepted to have less than stellar digital marketing and branding across the industry. It makes sense; with low supply of capable outlets and lack of personal time and, frankly, know-how or desire in many cases to pursue it themselves, ranchers are struggling to show up digitally in a way that does justice to their otherwise successful business they've built.
Perplexed by this shortage of service-providers, but knowing that I could certainly fill some of that void myself, I dug in.
Before I knew what I'd gotten myself into, fellow ranchers and family friends were calling me up to ask me to do similar work for their ranches, also. They wanted to elevate their ranch profiles, increase their brand recognition, and essentially up their game in a world largely turned digital so that their ranch reputation and marketing efforts appear professional to reflect all the honest, hard work they've put into building an extraordinary herd and business. They want to grow their business, getting more attention in regards to their online presence in order to increase their sale averages/bottom line.
Rancher Profiles was born out of this demand.
After helping hundreds of businesses and ranches around our nation, and guiding tens of thousands of students over the years, I'm confident I can help you make a greater impression with your business's presence, helping you increase your sales and bottom line.
You know your cattle and their strengths better than anyone else. I want to help you share that effectively with customers and new prospects, and personify the story behind your ranch so that others can connect on a deeper level to allow your business to not just survive but thrive.
Money flows where attention goes. Your business needs more attention. Re-branding and story-telling marketing can be a powerful, beautiful thing for your business. You deserve to have the marketplace SEE and VALUE what you have to offer, and I can help you do it.
I'm expanding Rancher Profiles so I, with the help of my incredible team, can help more people achieve the success they have been craving through their business efforts.
Together, we can achieve more."

Ish cuevaS - Chief operating officer
(AKA designated micro-manager)
Ish serves as our Chief Operating Officer here at Rancher Profiles. He's a former police officer and a gun-loving, fun personality who is always quick to crack a witty joke, and has mastered the balance of making serious moments or hard work be a bit easier or more cheerful to get through. But, you better bet, he's getting the job done...in the most common sense, practical way forward. He adds order, management, and enforcement of systems to help our business continue to improve our efforts to streamline projects, allowing us to be the most efficient and effective as we possibly we can. We are always looking to grow in various areas here at Rancher Profiles, so Ish's help in keeping us orderly and managing all of our client projects + team members (we have several contract employees/freelancers we also work with outside of our base team) is so crucial in helping us thrive.
If you hear a few "pew-pew"s in the background at our office,
it is 100% Ish making sound effects and perfecting his gun techniques.

"I grew up on a ranch in northeastern Oklahoma where I learned many things; a few of which were how to work hard, the importance of responsibility, and that pulling out lawn chairs to watch tornados is a common form of entertainment. My family's ranch consists of a small herd of cattle where we raise all-natural beef for families in our area. My sisters and I grew up working cattle, driving tractors, shooting guns, mending fences, and living out a ranch lifestyle. I was frequently tasked with the various marketing responsibilities for the family ranch such as updating the website, social media management, and email campaigns. Since then, I have worked with several small businesses, helping them increase their online presence through marketing techniques. I attended Oral Roberts University where I earned my degree in Marketing. After graduation, I moved to Townsville, Australia for a one-year adventure to experience a different culture and broaden my perspective. The past couple of years I have worked in a corporate setting, gaining experience in sales, project management, and customer service. I enjoy helping businesses with their marketing journey, whether it’s getting them started or helping them rebrand."
